The consequences of climate change as observed in the arid regions of the world are notable and leaving significant ecological influence around the globe. The consequences of climate change, in particular, the water & food scarcity have become worldwide issue. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports suggested that over the following century, changing climate would affect sea levels, river flows and rainfall patterns all over the globe. It has been anticipated that the influence of the climate change will transform every aspect of life including the agriculture, crops and cropping systems, water resources and biota etc. In order to maintain a balance in the global systems, there is a need of advanced knowledge on these issues, the objective oriented policies and changes in the institutional planning and development.
